Myeik Archipelago - 7 Days / 6 Nights

Isolated and unspoiled, the 800 islands of the Myeik Archipelago are the dramatic setting for your colorful underwater adventure. Due to its virtual isolation, the islands and surrounding seas are alive with an amazing diversity of flora & fauna and very beautiful underwater scenes and marine life.

Day 1 – Yangon
Spend your first day sightseeing with your personal guide that collects you from your hotel. Visit the mighty Shwedagon and revered Kyaukhtatgyi pagodas. Spend the afternoon relaxing in Kandawagyi park, a lush green oases in the centre of Yangon.

Day 2 – Yangon – Kawthaung – High Rock
This morning transfer to Yangon airport for a short flight to Kawthaung. Spend the afternoon at your leisure exploring this sleepy fishing town and its markets or just relaxing by the waterfront. In the late afternoon you will board your private boat and set off for High Rock. Overnight onboard.

Day 3 – High Rock – Steward – Rocky 1 – Nga Mann Island
Take you first dive this morning at High Rock. At a dive depth of 10-30 metres you will see an abundance of macro fans, nudibranches, scorpionfish and sea horses. On returning to the boat you then head for Steward, an area known for its underwater caves, before finishing the day with a night dive near Nga Mann. Overnight onboard.

Day 4 – Shark Cave – Mac Carthy
Today begins with a morning dive at Shark Cave, one of Myeik’s most extraordinary dive sites. Here you’ll see huge shoals of fish, unusual anemones, whip corals, grey sharks and possibly harlequin shrimp. In the afternoon the boat will cruise to Mac Carthy for a dive amongst barramundi and whiptail rays.  Continue to nearby Macleod Island.Overnight onboard near Macleod Island.

Day 5 – Macleod Island – Western Rocky Pinnacle
Take a morning dive near Macleod Island before returning for lunch and venturing to Western Rocky Pinnacle. This area is home to large nurse sharks, manta rays, grey reef sharks, spiny lobster and blue-ringed angelfish.Overnight onboard.

Day 6 – Western Rocky – Kawthaung
Your final dive takes place this morning at Western Rocky before taking a scenic cruise back to Kawthaung while enjoying lunch. Transfer to your hotel and relax for the evening. Overnight in Kawthaung

Day 7 – Departure Kawthaung
After breakfast enjoy a leisurely morning in Kawthaung. Then transfer to the airport for your flight to Yangon.
