Green Hill Valley Elephant Camp is a very unique place that is efficiently run by Tin Win Maw who has been around elephants all of her life. This elephant sanctuary is all about taking care of the elephants, so guests can scrub, bathe and feed these gentle giants.

ITINERARY

Depart in the morning from Kalaw or from Heho airport to the Green Hill Valley Elephant Camp in Magwe village (45-minute to an hour drive). Upon arrival, a guide from the camp will be waiting to provide transport to the main camp.

Enjoy a welcome drink while receiving a briefing on the day’s activities, the background of the camp and the history of elephants in Myanmar. Then Walk (5-7mins) to elephant village and see the life of mahouts with their families.  Time to introduce the elephants and feed them (daily prepared food). Then team will lead you go to the river where elephant bath and you can join for washing elephants like your owned pet.

In the late afternoon, say goodbye to the elephants and mahouts and transfer back to Kalaw or Inle Lake
